Diploid origins and early genome stabilization in the allotetraploid Arabidopsis suecica

open access: yesNew Phytologist, Volume 249, Issue 1, Page 524-538, January 2026.
Summary Polyploidization, followed by genome downsizing, is a recurrent evolutionary cycle that dramatically reshapes genome structure. Newly formed polyploids must quickly adjust their cell division machinery to maintain stable chromosome inheritance, while long‐term stabilization involves rediploidization, returning the genome to a diploid‐like state.

Optimization of blasting parameters in opencast mines [PDF]

open access: yes, 2007
Drilling and blasting are the major unit operations in opencast mining. Inspite of the best efforts to introduce mechanization in the opencast mines, blasting continue to dominate the production.

New secondary batteries utilizing electronically conductive polymer cathodes [PDF]

open access: yes
The objectives are to optimize the transport rates in electronically conductive polypyrrole films by controlling the morphology of the film and to assess the utility of these films as cathodes in a lithium/polypyrrole secondary battery.
