The Minkowski ?(x) function and Salem's problem [PDF]
R. Salem (Trans. Amer. Math. Soc. 53 (3) (1943) 427-439) asked whether the Fourier-Stieltjes transform of the Minkowski question mark function ?(x) vanishes at infinity. In this note we present several possible approaches towards the solution.

Deforming a Convex Hypersurface by Anisotropic Curvature Flows
In this paper, we consider a fully nonlinear curvature flow of a convex hypersurface in the Euclidean 𝑛-space. This flow involves 𝑘-th elementary symmetric function for principal curvature radii and a function of support function.

Constructive Existence of Minkowski Functionals [PDF]
In Bishop’s constructive mathematics, the framework of this paper, there are many situations where we cannot easily prove the existence of functionals whose existence is a trivial consequence of classical logic. One such functional is the Minkowski functional of a convex absorbing set.

This paper is aimed at presenting the unified integral operator in its generalized form utilizing the unified Mittag-Leffler function in its kernel. We prove the boundedness of this newly defined operator.

Multivariate Dynamic Sneak-Out Inequalities on Time Scales
In this study, we extend some “sneak-out” inequalities on time scales for a function depending on more than one parameter. The results are proved by using the induction principle and time scale version of Minkowski inequalities.

Time-like Weingarten surfaces with real principal curvatures in the three-dimensional Minkowski space and their natural partial differential equations [PDF]
We study time-like surfaces in the three-dimensional Minkowski space with diagonalizable second fundamental form. On any time-like W-surface we introduce locally natural principal parameters and prove that such a surface is determined uniquely (up to ...

Minkowski Functionals in Cosmology
Minkowski functionals provide a novel tool to characterize the large-scale galaxy distribution in the Universe. Here we give a brief tutorial on the basic features of these morphological measures and indicate their practical application for simulation data and galaxy redshift catalogues as examples.
