deepTFBS: Improving within‐ and Cross‐Species Prediction of Transcription Factor Binding Using Deep Multi‐Task and Transfer Learning

DeepTFBS leverages deep learning to predict transcription factor binding sites across species, integrating multi‐task and transfer learning approaches to improve performance in data‐scarce scenarios. Stiffness‐Tunable Neurotentacles for Minimally Invasive Implantation and Long‐Term Neural Activity Recordings

A hydraulically actuated “Neurotentacle” probe offers tunable stiffness for precise implantation into the deep brain without rigid shuttles or dissolvable coatings. It stiffens during insertion to penetrate tissue and softens afterward to minimize damage and enable stable long‐term recordings.
