Charge Transport in Ternary Charge‐Transfer Solid Solution Single Crystals

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
This study deconvolutes the roles of indirect (superexchange) and direct electronic coupling on charge transport in single crystals of an organic charge‐transfer molecular semiconductor (OSC). This model system elegantly demonstrates that structural defects introduced by chemical dopants play a significant role in the electronic performance ...

COFs on MOFs: Layer‐by‐Layer Synthesis of MOF@COF Nanoparticles with Synergistic Adsorption

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
A layer‐by‐layer strategy enables the growth of crystalline covalent organic framework (COF) shells on metal–organic framework nanoparticles, creating core–shell structures with tunable porosity. Ordered interstitial mesopores are formed during shell growth, which are connected with the COF's intrinsic micropores, thereby enhancing water sorption. This

Radical‐Mediated, Substrate‐Independent Fabrication of Hybrid Solid–Hydrogel Materials With Tunable Crosslinking: An Initiator‐ and Crosslinker‐Free Approach

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This work introduces a substrate‐independent, reagent‐free plasma strategy that forms radical‐rich interlayers for covalent hydrogel attachment without initiators or crosslinkers. The long‐lived radicals drive in situ gelation, creating robust, cytocompatible hybrid solid–hydrogel constructs across diverse substrates.

Miracle Play [PDF]

open access: yesOxford Literary Review, 2012
This text considers the notion of miracle in relation to the writings of Shakespeare and Derrida. Royle shows how the word ‘miracle’ (and cognates including ‘miraculous’) comes, in the later sixteenth century, to acquire less narrowly religious senses, and how this dehiscence is at play in Shakespeare, especially in the figure of Falstaff, in Henry IV
