Graph‐Laplacian modeling of spatiotemporal effects for house price estimation

open access: yesReal Estate Economics, EarlyView.
Abstract Many variables involve the modeling of spatial effects, and their dynamics over time. This article presents a linear model in which spatiotemporal random effects are modeled by graph‐Laplacians. A graph‐Laplacian flexibly encodes adjacency in both space and time, in our case not depending on unknown parameters. The graph‐Laplacian can be input

The Evolution of Male Weapons Is Associated with the Type of Breeding Site in a Clade of Neotropical Frogs

open access: yesIntegrative Zoology, EarlyView.
Male weaponry evolution is often linked to male–male competition, but its relationship with breeding site type remains unclear. Using Leptodactylinae frogs, we found a macroevolutionary correlation between breeding site type and weapon evolution. Also, gains and losses of weapons occurred more frequently in exposed‐breeding sites, an unexpected finding.

After All, Size Does Matter: Size and Trachemys Scripta Reproduction Traits at the Western Limit of Its European Distribution

open access: yesIntegrative Zoology, EarlyView.
‐ Female T. scripta exhibit a clear size‐dependent reproductive investment, where larger plastron length is positively associated with all key reproductive traits. ‐ Female T. scripta reach sexual maturity at a plastron length of approximately 15–18 cm. ABSTRACT In invasive species, reproductive success may determine invasion outcomes and influence the

Collaborative Innovation and R&D Disclosures: Evidence From Co‐Patents Innovation collaborative et communication d'informations sur la R et D : données relatives à la copropriété de brevets

open access: yesContemporary Accounting Research, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT As firms increasingly rely on collaborative innovation to develop new technologies, they face a growing tension between signaling their technological capabilities and protecting sensitive information.
