Detection of Spider Mites on Labrador Beans through Machine Learning Approaches Using Custom Datasets [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv
Amidst growing food production demands, early plant disease detection is essential to safeguard crops; this study proposes a visual machine learning approach for plant disease detection, harnessing RGB and NIR data collected in real-world conditions through a JAI FS-1600D-10GE camera to build an RGBN dataset.

Chemical Characterization, Antioxidant, and Anticholinesterase Activities of Libidibia ferrea (Mart. Ex Tul.) L.P.Queiroz and In Silico Studies with the Acetylcholinesterase Enzyme

open access: yesChemistry &Biodiversity, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Libidibia ferrea is used in many parts of Brazil for a variety of conditions, such as inflammation, respiratory disorders, muscle pain, and gastrointestinal problems. This study evaluated the chemistry and antioxidant and acetylcholinesterase (AChE) inhibitory activities of L. ferrea extracts. Hydroethanolic extracts of leaves (ELLF) and bark (

The Oxidized Ti2(Al/Sn)C Behavior as Anode for Lithium‐ and Sodium‐Ion Batteries: The Role of the MAX Phase Order

open access: yesChemElectroChem, EarlyView.
The present study is dedicated to investigation of the performance of oxidized Ti2(Al/Sn)C system (211 MAX phases) as anode for lithium and sodium ion batteries. Their behavior has been rationalized as function of the tin content and as function of the MAX phase order, with detailed comparison with the 312 MAX phase analog series.

Dihalogens Binding and Activation by Imidazoline‐2‐Chalcogenone Model Derivatives: Insight from a Computational Approach

open access: yesChemistry – A European Journal, EarlyView.
1,3‐dimethyl‐4‐imidazoline‐2‐chalcogenones react with dihalogens, initially forming a charge‐transfer (CT) adduct, which may evolve to the most stable T‐shaped hypercoordinate (TY) species. However, in silico results show that the CT adduct is more stable than the corresponding TY species for the sulfur and iodine combination.

Einfluss der Partikelgröße auf den Durchgangswiderstand von partikulären Systemen Effects of Particle Size on the Volume Resistance of Particular Systems

open access: yesChemie Ingenieur Technik, EarlyView.
