Stabilisierung von interstitiellen Platin‐Atomen unterhalb der CeO2(111)‐ Oberfläche: Neue Ansätze für die Architektur von Einzelatom‐Katalysatoren

Durch die Kombination polarisationsaufgelöster IRRAS an atomar flachen CeO2(111)‐Einkristallen mit quantitativen XPS‐ und DFT‐Berechnungen identifizieren wir eine ungewöhnliche interstitielle Konfiguration von Pt‐Einzelatomen in der Subsurface‐Region, die zu einer bisher unbeobachteten, blauverschobenen CO‐Schwingungsmode führt.
