A dual‐modal wearable pulse detection system is developed for sleep apnea monitoring by integrating a self‐powered PENG and PPG sensor with a biomimetic fingertip structure. Through a two‐stage detection strategy, continuous PPW monitoring and on‐demand PPG detection achieve high‐accuracy sleep apnea recognition while maintaining low power consumption.

A PDLIM7 Variant in Familial Mitral Valve Prolapse: A Case Series
ABSTRACT In the presented case of familial mitral valve prolapse, whole exome sequencing was used to reveal a missense variant in the PDLIM7 gene. This gene is considered a possible novel candidate gene for familial MVP based on PDLIM7 knock‐out mice and zebrafish showing mitral valve abnormalities.

ABSTRACT Mitral annulus disjunction (MAD) is a rare but significant cause of ventricular arrhythmias in young patients. Timely diagnosis using cardiac magnetic resonance imaging and targeted management with catheter ablation can effectively control arrhythmias, improve patient outcomes, and prevent severe complications such as sudden cardiac death.

Primary Atriopathy in Mitral Valve Prolapse: Echocardiographic Evidence and Clinical Implications. [PDF]
BACKGROUND: Prominent multi-scallop systolic leaflet displacement toward the left atrium (atrialization) is typically observed in bileaflet mitral valve prolapse (MVP) with mitral annular disjunction.

Mitral Annular Disjunction as a Cause of Cardiac Arrest in Young Patient: A Case Report [PDF]
Mitral annular disjunction is a structural abnormality where there is a separation of the mitral valve annulus and left atrial wall. We present a case of cardiac arrest in a young patient with known mitral valve prolapse that was now found to have mitral

Tricuspid annular disjunction (TAD) is concomitant in approximately half of mitral annular disjunction (MAD) cases. Here we report a case of echocardiographically isolated TAD detected during Takotsubo syndrome (TTS) complicated by a transient ...

To Each Imaging Modality, Their Own MAD [PDF]
PURPOSE: The clinical significance of mitral annular disjunction (MAD) is uncertain. Imaging modality might impact the prevalence of MAD. We aimed to assess MAD prevalence at transthoracic echocardiography (TTE) and cardiac magnetic resonance (CMR) as ...

Role of cardiac magnetic resonance in stratifying arrhythmogenic risk in mitral valve prolapse patients: a systematic review and meta-analysis [PDF]
Objectives: To perform a systematic review and meta-analysis of studies investigating the diagnostic value of cardiac magnetic resonance (CMR) features for arrhythmic risk stratification in mitral valve prolapse (MVP) patients.
