Perforation of Jejunum as a Rare Complication of Pericardiocentesis: A Case Report
ABSTRACT The safety of pericardiocentesis as a therapy for cardiac tamponade has improved since the advent of echocardiography‐guided pericardiocentesis. The most serious complications include injury of the cardiac chambers, laceration of the coronary arteries or intercostal vessels, puncture of the abdominal viscera or peritoneal cavity, pneumothorax,

Primary Cardiac Lymphoma: A Diagnostically Challenging Case Report
ABSTRACT This case highlights the diagnostic difficulties of PCL, including non‐specific symptoms, imaging mimics, and the critical role of histopathological confirmation despite technical and clinical challenges. Early multidisciplinary evaluation is essential to improve outcomes in this aggressive disease.

ABSTRACT Pleural effusions can be manifestations of heart failure, pulmonary embolism, infection, and malignancy. Symptom assessment, imaging, and pleural fluid analysis serve as key determinants in guiding clinical management. We present the case of a 75‐year‐old woman with a history of heart failure who developed worsening dyspnea and lower extremity

Betulin Protects Against Cardiac Hypertrophy by Improving AMPK/Nrf2‐Dependent Mitochondrial Function
Betulin effectively mitigates pressure overload‐induced cardiac hypertrophy in both Ang II‐infused and TAC‐operated mice. Mechanistically, betulin activated AMPK phosphorylation, promoted Nrf2 nuclear translocation, and upregulated antioxidant genes (HO‐1 and NQO‐1), thereby restoring mitochondrial function in cardiomyocytes.

Critical point drying of brain tissue for X‐ray phase‐contrast imaging
X‐ray phase contrast tomography can efficiently image brain tissue at subcellular resolution. Critical point drying allows a gentle replacement of interstitial material by air, enhancing X‐ray phase contrast of the ultrastructural features.X‐ray phase‐contrast tomography can efficiently image brain tissue at subcellular resolution.

Abstract Background and Purpose Plasma glucocorticoids increase acutely after MI, thereafter tissue levels are amplified selectively within cells expressing 11‐ßhydroxysteroid dehydrogenase type 1 (11‐ßHSD1) that regenerates active glucocorticoids from circulating metabolites.
