Composition‐Aware Cross‐Sectional Integration for Spatial Transcriptomics

open access: yesAdvanced Intelligent Discovery, EarlyView.
Multi‐section spatial transcriptomics demands coherent cell‐type deconvolution, domain detection, and batch correction, yet existing pipelines treat these tasks separately. FUSION unifies them within a composition‐aware latent framework, modeling reads as cell‐type–specific topics and clustering in embedding space.

Comparison of robotic and anterolateral minithoracotomy mitral valve repair: Experience in ChinaCentral MessagePerspective

open access: yesJTCVS Open
Objective: Nonsternotomy mitral valve repair is a popular treatment for degenerative mitral regurgitation. Data on the safety and effectiveness of anterolateral minithoracotomy and robotic mini-invasive mitral valve repair are lacking in China.

Mitral annulus morphologic and functional analysis using real time tridimensional echocardiography in patients submitted to unsupported mitral valve repair

open access: yesBrazilian Journal of Cardiovascular Surgery, 2015
Introduction:Mitral valve repair is the treatment of choice to correct mitral insufficiency, although the literature related to mitral valve annulus behavior after mitral repair without use of prosthetic rings is scarce. Objective:To analyze mitral ...

«Edge-to-edge» mitral valve repair for septal myectomy versus isolated myectomy: a pilot randomized trial

open access: yesЕвразийский Кардиологический Журнал, 2023
Background. Septal myectomy  is currently the «gold» standard of surgical treatment  of patients with obstructive  hypertrophic  cardiomyopathy.  In some  cases,  isolated septal myectomy does  not eliminate SAM-induced mitral insufficiency.

Mitral cleft repair by mitraclipping [PDF]

open access: yesEuropean Heart Journal, 2013
We present a case of a 51-year-old male patient with severe mitral regurgitation and a dilated left ventricle with a poor function (LVEF 15%). The mitral regurgitation initially was considered to be due to annular dilatation and malcoaptation. Mitral surgery was considered too riskful. The patient was accepted for …

A Case of Venous Tissue Dissection During Transcatheter MitraClip Surgery

open access: yesCatheterization and Cardiovascular Interventions, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT The MitraClip system has been widely used to treat mitral regurgitation. The complications associated with MitraClip surgery typically include clip detachment and mitral valve injury. However, cases of venous tissue dissection during surgery are relatively rare.

Echocardiographic navigation in transapical neochord mitral valve repair with significant mitral regurgitation

open access: yesВестник хирургии имени И.И. Грекова
INTRODUCTION. Significant mitral regurgitation is currently a widespread acquired valvular heart disease and is associated with a significant decrease in survival and deterioration in quality of life. One of the new, unclearly studied, minimally invasive

Percutaneous Mitral Edge-to-Edge Repair: State of the Art and a Glimpse to the Future. [PDF]

open access: yes, 2019
Patients with severe symptomatic mitral regurgitation have a poor prognosis if left untreated. In those patients who are not eligible for mitral valve surgery, percutaneous edge-to-edge repair may improve clinical outcomes.

Nine‐Year Follow‐Up After M‐TEER for Secondary Mitral Regurgitation in a Patient With Cardiogenic Shock

open access: yesCatheterization and Cardiovascular Interventions, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background Transcatheter edge‐to‐edge repair (TEER) has become an established therapeutic option for patients with severe secondary mitral regurgitation (SMR). While randomized trials and registry data have reported outcomes up to 5 years, longer follow‐up data remain scarce.

Intensive care and anesthesia management for HARPOON beating heart mitral valve repair

open access: yesAnnals of Cardiac Anaesthesia, 2020
Patients with severe mitral valve regurgitation secondary to degenerative disease are known to benefit from mitral valve repair surgery. Novel techniques for achieving mitral valve repair on the beating heart have been developed and are being introduced ...
