Ischemic mitral regurgitation (IMR) is a severe condition which may be best treated by surgery, notwithstanding a relatively high mortality rate.To evaluate the results of mitral valve replacement or repair in patients with IMR.Retrospective review of the clinical records in 29 patients with IMR who were surgically treated from 1990 to 1999.

Radiographic remission of a presumptive unresectable haemangiosarcoma treated with toceranib, piroxicam, and propranolol. In a dog with ACVIM Stage B2 myxomatous mitral valve disease where doxorubicin‐based chemotherapy was contraindicated, this multimodal regimen achieved marked tumour reduction and radiographic disappearance.

Reel Syndrome is a rare complication of permanent pacemaker implantation, characterised by the rotation of the device around its transverse axis, which causes the lead to coil around the generator and displacement, leading to pacing dysfunction.
