The paper describes a rare case of successful surgical treatment for mitral insufficiency due to heart valvular apparatus damage in the acute period of severe concomitant injury. Prosthetic mitral valve replacement was done on day 3 after injury.

Cardiac structure and function in psoriasis: A cross‐sectional analysis of the PSOCADIA study

Individuals with well‐treated psoriasis exhibited a higher burden of myocardial dysfunction (GLS < 16%) compared with controls, independent of cardiometabolic comorbidity.
