The spread of non‐native species

open access: yesBiological Reviews, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT The global redistribution of species through human agency is one of the defining ecological signatures of the Anthropocene, with biological invasions reshaping biodiversity patterns, ecosystem processes and services, and species interactions globally.

The Extension of Noncommutative Modified KP Hierarchy and Its Quasideterminant Solutions

open access: yesAxioms
The extended noncommutative modified KP (exncmKP) hierarchy is firstly constructed, which gives rise to two types of the ncmKP equation with self-consistent sources (ncmKPESCSs).

The impacts of biological invasions

open access: yesBiological Reviews, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT The Anthropocene is characterised by a continuous human‐mediated reshuffling of the distributions of species globally. Both intentional and unintentional introductions have resulted in numerous species being translocated beyond their native ranges, often leading to their establishment and subsequent spread – a process referred to as biological

On deformations of quasi-Miura transformations and the Dubrovin-Zhang bracket

open access: yes, 2011
In our recent paper we proved the polynomiality of a Poisson bracket for a class of infinite-dimensional Hamiltonian systems of PDE's associated to semi-simple Frobenius structures.

Enhanced deoxyviolacein bioproduction via enzyme condensation with a yeast glycolytic enzyme‐derived peptide tag

open access: yesBiotechnology Progress, EarlyView.
Fusion of a 27‐amino‐acid peptide tag derived from a glycolytic enzyme enabled artificial assembly formation of the two violacein biosynthetic enzymes, VioE and VioC. This assembly resulted in enhanced biosynthesis of deoxyviolacein. Abstract In microbial production, regulating endogenous and exogenous synthetic pathways is essential.

Rodent monocyte‐derived macrophages do not express CD163: Comparative analysis using macrophages from living boreoeutherians

open access: yesDevelopmental Dynamics, EarlyView.
Abstract Background CD163 is a scavenger receptor predominantly expressed on the surfaces of macrophages in various mammalian species and is a marker of anti‐inflammatory (M2‐like) macrophages. High density of CD163‐positive tumor‐associated macrophages (TAMs) is associated with worse prognosis in various patient tumors.

Representation theory of finite W algebras

open access: yes, 1992
In this paper we study the finitely generated algebras underlying $W$ algebras. These so called 'finite $W$ algebras' are constructed as Poisson reductions of Kirillov Poisson structures on simple Lie algebras.

Seasonal drivers of plant–soil–microbial community structure and functions in Western Himalayan grasslands, Pakistan

open access: yesGrassland Research, EarlyView.
Plant species richness was greater in summer in both alpine and subalpine grassland ecosystems. Soil moisture demonstrates significant positive correlations with soil organic carbon and total nitrogen across seasonal periods. Microbial α‐diversity peaks during summer but maintains functional stability across seasons.

Elliptic deformation of the Gaiotto-Rapčák corner VOA and the associated partially symmetric polynoimals

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics
We construct the elliptic Miura transformation and use it to obtain the expression of the currents of elliptic corner VOA. We subsequently prove a novel combinatorial formula that is essential for deriving the quadratic relations of the currents.

Hamiltonian Reduction and Classical Extended Superconformal Algebras

open access: yes, 1992
We present a systematic construction of classical extended superconformal algebras from the hamiltonian reduction of a class of affine Lie superalgebras, which include an even subalgebra $sl(2)$.
