Small Structures, Volume 7, Issue 3, March 2026.A new cost‐effective Li5.5Fe0.5Al0.5Cl8 solid electrolyte is presented. Upon the Al substitution to Li6FeCl8, its structure changed from the Suzuki‐phase to the spinel‐like phase while the 25°C ionic conductivity is increased from 3.1 × 10−6 to 3.9 ×10−5 S cm−1.
