High‐Conductivity Electrolytes Screened Using Fragment‐ and Composition‐Aware Deep Learning

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
We present a new deep learning framework that hierarchically links molecular and functional unit attributions to predict electrolyte conductivity. By integrating molecular composition, ratios, and physicochemical descriptors, it achieves accurate, interpretable predictions and large‐scale virtual screening, offering chemically meaningful insights for ...

A Fast and Accurate Self-Healing Scheme for Intelligent Distribution Networks Using Mixed Integer Linear Programming

open access: yesIEEE Access
Fast and accurate self-healing after faults is an important way to improve the reliability of distribution networks. To improve the self-healing speed and accuracy of distribution networks, this paper proposes a fast and accurate self-healing scheme for ...

Optimal Antibody Purification Strategies Using Data-Driven Models

open access: yesEngineering, 2019
This work addresses the multiscale optimization of the purification processes of antibody fragments. Chromatography decisions in the manufacturing processes are optimized, including the number of chromatography columns and their sizes, the number of ...

Mechanism of Solid Solution‐Driven Texture Induced by Ag Doping in YBCO Superconductor

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Ag‐doped YBCO with a designed concentration gradient is produced by dual‐material co‐extrusion and freeze‐drying. During annealing, Ag+ ions diffuse into Y123, substituting for Cu(1) and inducing c‐axis relaxation. This leads to the formation of [001]‐oriented YBCAO, creating a coherent interface that templates the textured growth of Y123. Consequently,

Alternative mathematical programming formulations for FSS synthesis [PDF]

open access: yes
A variety of mathematical programming models and two solution strategies are suggested for the problem of allocating orbital positions to (synthesizing) satellites in the Fixed Satellite Service.

Circular Potential of Lithium‐Ion Battery Recycling Slags: Quantifying Microstructure and Elemental Distribution for a Holistic Valorization

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A lithium‐bearing slag is investigated with the goal of holistic valorization. The present β‐eucryptite (LiAlSiO4) exhibits a high lithium content and low levels of impurities. The spinel contains most of the chromium and vanadium, representing additional valorization opportunities.

A mixed integer programming approach for freight railcar distribution

open access: yesProduction
The attendance of the demand for freight transport is related to the process of allocation of the wagons that in turn is associated with the way in which the decision is taken.

Undecidability and hardness in mixed-integer nonlinear programming

open access: yesRAIRO Oper. Res., 2019
We survey two aspects of mixed-integer nonlinear programming which have attracted less attention (so far) than solution methods, solvers and applications: namely, whether the class of these problems can be solved algorithmically, and, for the subclasses ...

Computer assisted modelling of linear, integer and separable programming problems [PDF]

open access: yes, 1984
For mathematical programming (MP) to have greater impact upon the decision making process, MP software systems must offer suitable support in terms of model communication and modelling techniques .

Polyhedral approximation in mixed-integer convex optimization

open access: yes, 2017
Generalizing both mixed-integer linear optimization and convex optimization, mixed-integer convex optimization possesses broad modeling power but has seen relatively few advances in general-purpose solvers in recent years.
