Global optimality conditions for mixed integer nonlinear programming problems
In recent years, the application of mixed integer nonlinear programming problem has been extremely active and very extensive. In this paper, some necessary conditions for a given global minimizer applied to mixed integer nonlinear programming problem ...

Gap inequalities for non-convex mixed-integer quadratic programs [PDF]
Laurent and Poljak introduced a very general class of valid linear inequalities, called gap inequalities, for the max-cut problem. We show that an analogous class of inequalities can be defined for general non-convex mixed-integer quadratic programs ...

Photonic‐Enabled Energy‐Efficient Transparent Neuromorphic Computing Devices: A Review
Transparent photonic neuromorphic computing devices merge optics and brain‐inspired computing to overcome von Neumann bottlenecks with ultrafast, low‐energy processing. By exploiting transparent oxides, 2D materials, phase‐change materials, and hybrid heterostructures, these platforms enable photonic synapses, memory, and logic for see‐through edge ...

On the interplay of Mixed Integer Linear, Mixed Integer Nonlinear and Constraint Programming [PDF]
In this thesis we study selected topics in the field of Mixed Integer Programming (MIP), in particular Mixed Integer Linear and Nonlinear Programming (MI(N)LP). We set a focus on the influences of Constraint Programming (CP). First, we analyze Mathematical Programming approaches to water network optimization, a set of challenging optimization ...

Conformal Reconfigurable Intelligent Surfaces: A Cylindrical Geometry Perspective
Cylindrical reconfigurable intelligent surfaces are explored for low‐complexity beam steering using one‐bit meta‐atoms. A multi‐level modeling approach, including optimization‐based synthesis, demonstrates that even minimal hardware can support directive scattering.

FATCOP: A Fault Tolerant Condor-PVM Mixed Integer Programming Solver
We describe FATCOP, a new parallel mixed integer program solver written in PVM. The implementation uses the Condor resource management system to provide a virtual machine composed of otherwise idle computers.

Handling Symmetries in Mixed-Integer Semidefinite Programs
Symmetry handling is a key technique for reducing the running time of branch-and-bound methods for solving mixed-integer linear programs. In this paper, we generalize the notion of (permutation) symmetries to mixed-integer semidefinite programs (MISDPs). We first discuss how symmetries of MISDPs can be automatically detected by finding automorphisms of
