Mixed Mode Filters (Short Papers)
IEEE Transactions on Microwave Theory and Techniques, 1974Mixed mode bandpass filters are described which utilize alternating TE/sub 011//spl deg/ and TE/sub n11//spl deg/ circular waveguide cavity modes. This novel filter configuration exhibits both excellent unloaded Q and spurious mode response characteristics.

Mixed modes dielectric resonator filters
IEEE Transactions on Microwave Theory and Techniques, 1994A new configuration of dielectric loaded cavity filters is presented. The filter combines the superior spurious free performance of TE/sub 01/ mode ring dielectric resonators with the advantage of HE/sub 11/ dual-mode dielectric loading. Resonant frequency, field distributions and unloaded Q of each cavity are computed by rigorous mode-matching ...

Mixed-Mode Universal Biquad Filter Using OTAs
Journal of Circuits, Systems and Computers, 2019This paper introduces an electronically tunable mixed-mode universal biquad filter configuration employing four single output operational transconductance amplifiers (OTAs), one dual output OTA and two grounded capacitors (GCs) (ideal for integrated circuit implementation and absorbing shunt parasitic capacitances). The presented structure can realize

Mixed-mode continuous-time video acquisition filters
Proceedings of IEEE International Symposium on Circuits and Systems - ISCAS '94, 2002As an alternative to the usual purely analog antialiasing filters, a mixed mode approach is studied, and the existence of a continuous-time representation is recalled. Using a slight oversampling of a factor of two typically, the specifications of the analog filter can be relaxed and its sensitivity can be significantly reduced.

Integrated mixed-mode digital-analog filter converters
IEEE Journal of Solid-State Circuits, 1990Alternative architectures have been investigated for the integrated realization of DAFICs (digital-analog filter converters), taking into account such important design parameters as capacitance spread and total capacitor area, conversion speed and resolution, and the hardware complexity of the analog and digital parts. To demonstrate the feasibility of

Multifunction mixed-mode filter using FTFNs
Analog Integrated Circuits and Signal Processing, 2006A novel mixed-mode multifunction filter configuration containing three FTFNs and only five passive components with a single input and three different outputs is presented. The configuration can be driven by a voltage or current source while as outputs are always voltages and currents.

Mixed-mode universal filter using OTAs
2012 IEEE International Conference on Cyber Technology in Automation, Control, and Intelligent Systems (CYBER), 2012This paper presents an electronically tunable versatile biquadratic filter. Unlike the typical voltage-mode and current-mode filter, the proposed filter can realize voltage-mode, current-mode, transconductance-mode and transresistance-mode transfer functions without changing the circuit topology, called a mixed-mode filter.

A Novel Mixed-Mode OTA-C Filter
Frequenz, 2003A novel mixed-mode biquad circuit is presented. The circuit uses six single-output- and one dual-output-operational transconductance amplifiers, two grounded capacitors; and can realize lowpass, highpass, bandpass, notch, lowpass-notch, highpass-notch and allpass responses from the same topology.

A new mixed-mode filter based on MDDCCs
SPIE Proceedings, 2015A new mixed mode filter based on MDDCC (Modify Differential Difference Current Conveyor) is proposed, the structure of filter is simple, the circuit consist of only three active MDDCCs, five resistors and three grounded capacitors. The filter can realize the filter of current mode and voltage mode, which can realize the function of low pass biquad ...

Mixed-mode biquad filter employing single active element
2013 IEEE 4th Latin American Symposium on Circuits and Systems (LASCAS), 2013Mixed-mode filters are useful circuit blocks in modern microelectronic systems applications, such as controls and voice and data communications. In this paper, a mixed-mode biquad filter is proposed providing voltage, current, transconductance and transresistance operating modes.
