Integrated mixed-mode digital-analog filter converters

IEEE Journal of Solid-State Circuits, 1990
Alternative architectures have been investigated for the integrated realization of DAFICs (digital-analog filter converters), taking into account such important design parameters as capacitance spread and total capacitor area, conversion speed and resolution, and the hardware complexity of the analog and digital parts. To demonstrate the feasibility of

Mixed-mode universal filter using OTAs

2012 IEEE International Conference on Cyber Technology in Automation, Control, and Intelligent Systems (CYBER), 2012
This paper presents an electronically tunable versatile biquadratic filter. Unlike the typical voltage-mode and current-mode filter, the proposed filter can realize voltage-mode, current-mode, transconductance-mode and transresistance-mode transfer functions without changing the circuit topology, called a mixed-mode filter.

Multifunction mixed-mode filter using FTFNs

Analog Integrated Circuits and Signal Processing, 2006
A novel mixed-mode multifunction filter configuration containing three FTFNs and only five passive components with a single input and three different outputs is presented. The configuration can be driven by a voltage or current source while as outputs are always voltages and currents.

A Novel Mixed-Mode OTA-C Filter

Frequenz, 2003
A novel mixed-mode biquad circuit is presented. The circuit uses six single-output- and one dual-output-operational transconductance amplifiers, two grounded capacitors; and can realize lowpass, highpass, bandpass, notch, lowpass-notch, highpass-notch and allpass responses from the same topology.

A new mixed-mode filter based on MDDCCs

SPIE Proceedings, 2015
A new mixed mode filter based on MDDCC (Modify Differential Difference Current Conveyor) is proposed, the structure of filter is simple, the circuit consist of only three active MDDCCs, five resistors and three grounded capacitors. The filter can realize the filter of current mode and voltage mode, which can realize the function of low pass biquad ...

Mixed-mode biquad filter employing single active element

2013 IEEE 4th Latin American Symposium on Circuits and Systems (LASCAS), 2013
Mixed-mode filters are useful circuit blocks in modern microelectronic systems applications, such as controls and voice and data communications. In this paper, a mixed-mode biquad filter is proposed providing voltage, current, transconductance and transresistance operating modes.

CFOA‐based simple mixed‐mode first‐order universal filter configurations

International Journal of Circuit Theory and Applications, 2022
AbstractThis brief communication presents two current feedback op‐amp (CFOA)‐based simple first‐order mixed‐mode universal filter topologies—one of them providing first‐order low‐pass (LP), high pass (HP), and all pass (AP)—all the three filters in voltage‐mode (VM)/trans‐admittance‐mode (TAM) while the other one realizing the quoted three functions in

A novel mixed-mode OTA-C universal filter

International Journal of Electronics, 2005
A novel mixed-mode biquad circuit is presented. The circuit uses six single-output- and one dual-output-operational transconductance amplifiers, two grounded capacitors; and can realize lowpass, highpass, bandpass, notch, lowpass-notch, highpass-notch and allpass responses from the same topology.

A novel mixed-mode current-conveyor-based filter

International Journal of Electronics, 2004
A new mixed-mode biquad circuit is presented. The circuit uses six single-output plus-type second-generation current-conveyors (CCII+s), a single dual-output CCII+, two grounded capacitors, eight resistors, at least two of them permanently grounded, and can realize lowpass, highpass, bandpass, notch, lowpass notch, highpass notch and allpass responses ...

Mixed modes dielectric resonator loaded cavity filters

1994 IEEE MTT-S International Microwave Symposium Digest (Cat. No.94CH3389-4), 2002
A novel configuration of dielectric loaded cavity filters is presented. The new filter combines the superior spurious free performance of TE/sub 01/ mode ring dielectric resonators with the advantage of HE/sub 11/ dual-mode dielectric loading. Resonant frequency and field distributions of each cavity is computed by rigorous mode-matching technique. The
