Mixed-mode S-Parameter Characterization of a Distributed-based Transversal Filter

A transversal filter based on distributed amplifier principles is characterized in the frequency domain. It is shown that mixed-mode s-parameters provide a judicious characterization of a filter structure which has the ability of transmitting simultaneously signals in several modes of propagation (mixed-mode propagation).
