Mixed reality systems seek to smoothly link the physical and data processing (digital) environments. Although mixed reality systems are becoming more prevalent, we still do not have a clear understanding of this interaction paradigm. Addressing this problem, this article introduces a new interaction model called Mixed Interaction model.

Granular materials play an important role in technology and in nature, from the manufacturing of pills to the motion of ice shelfs. In his Perspective, [Mullin][1] highlights some of the counterintuitive properties of granular materials. He discusses the report by [ Burtally et al .][2], who show that mixtures of grains with the same size but different

CMOS dominates digital microelectronics. However, wireless applications require RF circuits at 1-5GHz, and exotic higher frequency applications are on the horizon. Silicon-Germanium (SiGe) is a growing choice for these designs. But is it "the" answer? Some argue that scaled CMOS will handle all tomorrow's RF ICs.
