Discovery of an Intrinsic Antiferromagnetic Semiconductor EuSc2Te4 With Magnetism‐Driven Nonlinear Transport

EuSc₂Te₄, an antiferromagnetic semiconductor, exhibits a nonlinear Hall effect (NLHE) characterized by quadratic current–voltage behavior. Combined experimental and theoretical studies reveal that this NLHE is linked to its antiferromagnetism and involves contributions from the quantum metric.

High‐Entropy Magnetism of Murunskite

The study of murunskite (K2FeCu3S4) reveals that its magnetic and orbital order emerges in a simple I4/mmm crystal structure with complete disorder in the transition metal positions. Mixed‐valence Fe ions randomly occupy 1/4 of the tetrahedral sites, with the remaining 3/4 being filled by non‐magnetic Cu+ ions.

Anomalous Paramagnetic Effects in the Mixed State of LuNi2B2C

Anomalous paramagnetic effects in dc magnetization were observed in the mixed state of LuNi2B2C, unlike any reported previously. It appears as a kink-like feature for H > 30 kOe and becomes more prominent with increasing field.

High Thermoelectric Performance in Low‐Cost Cu8SiSxSe6‐x Argyrodite

This study discovers the great potential of Cu8SiSxSe6‐x argyrodites as new, low‐cost, Te‐free thermoelectric materials. The proposed defect scheme suppresses the phase transition, enhances the weighted mobility and optimizes the grain boundary contacts.

Boundary anomaly detection in two-dimensional subsystem symmetry-protected topological phases [PDF]

We generalize the topological response theory to detect the boundary anomalies of linear subsystem symmetries. This approach allows us to distinguish different subsystem symmetry-protected topological (SSPT) phases and uncover new ones. We focus on the cases where the mixed anomaly exists within the adjacent subsystems.

Supercompliant Lattice Boosts n‐type AgSbTe2 Thermoelectrics
