Encephalitis has typically a severe course, with psychotic disorders, consciousness disorders, epileptic seizures and meningal signs. The author describes a case of a young male, in whom dominant symptoms of encephalities were aphasia and headache. These symptoms were accompanied by considerable inflammatory changes in cerebral fluid.
