Nonlinear eigenvalue problems with mixed boundary conditions
AbstractSome of the properties of the upper bound of the spectrum of a quasilinear eigenvalue problem, subject to a positivity requirement, are derived. It is shown that, as a function of the surface heat-transfer coefficient, this parameter is a continuous, monotonic increasing function and is bounded above.

Development of therapies targeting cancer‐associated fibroblasts (CAFs) necessitates preclinical model systems that faithfully represent CAF–tumor biology. We established an in vitro coculture system of patient‐derived pancreatic CAFs and tumor cell lines and demonstrated its recapitulation of primary CAF–tumor biology with single‐cell transcriptomics ...

In this paper, we consider the equation for a class of nonlinear operators containing $p(\cdot ) $-Laplacian and mean curvature operator with mixed boundary conditions in a bounded domain $\Omega $ of $\mathbb{R}^N$, under the hypothesis $p(x)>1$ in ...

We developed and validated a DNA methylation–based biomarker panel to distinguish pleural mesothelioma from other pleural conditions. Using the IMPRESS technology, we translated this panel into a clinically applicable assay. The resulting two classifier models demonstrated excellent performance, achieving high AUC values and strong diagnostic accuracy.

Growing sandpile problem with Dirichlet and Fourier boundary conditions
In this work, we study the Prigozhin model for growing sandpile with mixed boundary conditions and an arbitrary time dependent angle of repose. On one part of the boundary the homogeneous Dirichlet boundary condition is provided, on the other one the ...

Nonlinear Katugampola Fractional Differential Equation with Mixed Boundary Conditions
Abstract This paper discusses the existence and uniqueness of solutions for a class of nonlinear fractional differential equations with a mixed fractional boundary value using Banach and Schaefer fixed-point theorems. The examples illustrating the main results are given.
