A VISCOUS-INVISCID COUPLING UNDER MIXED BOUNDARY CONDITIONS
Mathematical Models and Methods in Applied Sciences, 1992In this paper we consider a nonlinear modification of a linear convection-diffusion problem in order to get a pure convection equation where the original problem is convection dominated. We extend the results of previous papers by considering mixed Dirichlet/Oblique derivative boundary conditions.

Three-Dimensional Boundary Value Problems of Elastothermodiffusion with Mixed Boundary Conditions
gmj, 1997Abstract We investigate the basic boundary value problems of the connected theory of elastothermodiffusion for three-dimensional domains bounded by several closed surfaces when the same boundary conditions are fulfilled on every separate boundary surface, but these conditions differ on different groups of surfaces.

Neumann, Fourier and Mixed Boundary Conditions
2018The GDM and its analysis are adapted here to cope with Neumann, Fourier and mixed boundary conditions. Properties of trace operators are detailed.

Axisymmetric spherical radiator with mixed boundary conditions
The Journal of the Acoustical Society of America, 1977The acoustic radiation field of an axisymmetric spherical radiator with mixed surface boundary conditions is determined numerically. The general problem consists of a sphere comprised of a radially vibrating polar cap and a contiguous pressure release belt mounted on a rigid baffle (the remainder of the sphere).

A variational inequality with mixed boundary conditions
Israel Journal of Mathematics, 1972In this paper we study a variational inequality for a second order uniformly elliptic operator on a bounded domain, the solution of which is required to lie above a given obstacle and to assume assigned values on a part of the boundary of the domain. We are mainly concerned with the regularity of the solution in relation to the regularity of the data.

Laplace Equation with Mixed Boundary Conditions
2017So far, we have said almost nothing about the basic Dirichlet and Neumann boundary-value problems for equations of elliptic type, apart from the strong ellipticity example of Sect. 8.6.

Heat kernel asymptotics for mixed boundary conditions
Classical and Quantum Gravity, 1992The author derives an asymptotic expansion for the heat kernel corresponding to a second-order elliptic differential operator acting on fields over manifolds with boundary for mixed boundary conditions.

Mixed Boundary Conditions in Heat Conduction
2010In mixed boundary value (MBV) problems, the nature of the boundary condition can change along a particular boundary (finite, semi-infinite or infinite in length), say from a Dirichlet condition to a Neumann condition. Most MBV problems are solved using classical techniques such as separation of variables (domain of limited extent) or transform methods (

Mixed boundary conditions in quantum field theory
Journal of Mathematical Physics, 1991When quantum field theory is formulated in terms of transition amplitudes between initial and final configurations, it is important to impose mathematically consistent boundary conditions on the fields. The choice of boundary conditions is also important when dealing with elliptic complexes and index theorems on bounded manifolds.
