The performance of the truncated mixed control chart
When the mixed chart proposed by Aslam et al. (2015) is in use, the sample items are classified as defective or not defective and, depending on the number of defectives, the quality characteristic ...

Monitoring of Linear Profiles Using Linear Mixed Model in the Presence of Measurement Errors
In the application of control charts, most of the research in profile monitoring is based on accurate measurements. Measurement errors, however, often exist in many manufacturing and service environments.

Crude versus case-mix-adjusted control charts for safety monitoring in thyroid surgery [PDF]
Patient-safety monitoring based on health-outcome indicators can lead to misinterpretation of changes in case mix. This study aimed to compare the detection of indicator variations between crude and case-mix-adjusted control charts using data from thyroid surgeries. The study population included each patient who underwent thyroid surgery in a teaching ...

TheT2chart with mixed samples to control bivariate autocorrelated processes [PDF]
In this paper, we propose the use of the T2 chart with the mixed sampling strategy (MS) to monitor the mean vector of bivariate processes with observations that fit to a first-order vector autoregressive model. With the MS, rational subgroups of size n are taken from the process and the selected units are regrouped to form the mixed samples.

Control Chart T2Qv for Statistical Control of Multivariate Processes with Qualitative Variables
The scientific literature is abundant regarding control charts in multivariate environments for numerical and mixed data; however, there are few publications for qualitative data. Qualitative variables provide valuable information on processes in various

An Efficient Mixed-Memory-Type Control Chart for Normal and Non-Normal Processes [PDF]
Statistical process control techniques are commonly used to monitor process performance. Control charting technique is the most sophisticated tool of SPC and is categorized as memory-less and memory-type control charts. Shewhart-type control charts have low efficiency in detecting the small changes in the process parameters and named as memory-less ...
