Galectin-10 Characterization in Cleft Lip Palate – Affected Palatal Tissue
Background. Cleft lip palate is one of the most common craniofacial birth defects in humans. Multiple defense factors have been described to have possible involvement in the failure in palatal shelve elevation, migration and fusion, most importantly ...

Mixed Dentition Analysis in a Jordanian Population [PDF]
To examine the applicability of the Tanaka and Johnston method of prediction in a Jordanian population and to develop a new prediction method for this specific population if necessary.Three-hundred and sixty-seven Jordanians (193 female, 174 male, mean age 15.5 years) were randomly selected to represent 0.1% of 10th grade schoolchildren from Amman ...

Hierarchical multi‐material TPMS lattices are engineered as flexible tactile sensors by combining soft and stiff elastomeric layers with a conformal conductive coating. The bilayer architecture delivers sensitivity at low pressures while maintaining a broad detectable range under large loads, enabling reliable pressure and vibration monitoring for ...

A Methodology for Three-Dimensional Quantification of Anterior Tooth Width [PDF]
The use of cone-beam computed tomography (CBCT) technology has been shown to be more accurate in measuring individual incisor tooth widths than the use of wax exemplars. There were fewer differences by investigators using CBCT than others using an F-test

Mechanical loading induces a previously unrecognized Sox9+Acan+ transitional mesenchymal cell population in the periodontal ligament that promotes osteoclastogenesis via the FGF2–FGFR2–ERK axis. Targeting this mechanoresponsive stromal population using a localized GelMA@siRNA delivery strategy attenuates pathological osteoclast overactivation and root ...

Photonuclear Population of 229m,gTh in Th‐Doped Crystals Toward Nuclear Clock Development
This study demonstrates a novel photonuclear approach for producing the nuclear clock isomer 229mTh in thorium‐doped crystals, overcoming current supply limitations. Through cross‐section calculations and Monte Carlo simulations, we identify optimal crystal materials and irradiation conditions, achieving high signal‐to‐noise ratios.
