Current Evidence on Best Practice Dental Survivorship Care for People With Head and Neck Cancer: An Overview of Systematic Reviews and Emerging Evidence

open access: yesHead &Neck, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Introduction Head and neck cancer (HNC) survival is improving, increasing the need to address long‐term survivorship issues. Dental survivorship—care before, during, and after treatment—remains inconsistent across services. We conducted a review of systematic reviews and emerging evidence to inform contemporary dental survivorship care for HNC

Association of HPV Status With Quality of Life After Transoral Robotic Surgery for T1–T2 Oropharyngeal Carcinoma

open access: yesHead &Neck, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background In T1–T2 oropharyngeal squamous cell carcinoma (OPSCC), factors associated with patient‐reported quality of life after transoral robotic surgery (TORS) are poorly defined. Methods Retrospective cohort of 59 patients with T1–T2 OPSCC treated with TORS.

Shared Genetic Pathways Linking Oral Diseases to Gastrointestinal Disorders: An Integrative Multi‐Omics Study

open access: yesiMetaMed, EarlyView.
Shared genetics pathways connect oral diseases and gut disorders. ABSTRACT Oral diseases are highly prevalent and increasingly recognized as contributors to gastrointestinal disorders. Despite clinical observations of oral–gut comorbidity, the underlying genetic architecture and causal mechanisms remain poorly understood.

Ordered assembly of Cas12a for better performance of CRISPR/Cas system with application to the diagnosis of dental caries

open access: yesInterdisciplinary Medicine, EarlyView.
Here, we present a tetrahedral DNA framework (TDF)‐mediated Cas12a ordered assembly strategy. TDFs arrange CRISPR/Cas12a into ordered structures controllably, enhancing catalytic efficiency through localized Cas12a hotspots while maintaining spatial intervals to facilitate substrate diffusion.

Mixed dentition analysis for Hong Kong Chinese.

open access: yesThe Angle orthodontist, 1998
Using simple linear regression analyses, prediction equations for the combined mesiodistal crown diameters of canines and premolars based on lower incisor size were generated from 97 Hong Kong Chinese (51 males and 46 females, average age 12.31 years) out of a sample of 112.
