Mixed *-Jordan-type derivations on *-algebras

Journal of Algebra and Its Applications, 2022
Let [Formula: see text] be an *-algebra with identity [Formula: see text] and [Formula: see text] and [Formula: see text] nontrivial symmetric idempotents in [Formula: see text]. In this paper we study the characterization of nonlinear mixed *-Jordan-type derivations.

Mixed monolayers of a rhodamine derivative

Mendeleev Communications, 2010
Mixed monolayers of a rhodamine derivative (GM142) with stearic acid were prepared and their surface-active and optical properties were investigated for application in nanophotonics.

Derivative measurement by frequency mixing

Review of Scientific Instruments, 1976
A dual-frequency technique for electronically measuring high-order derivatives by frequency mixing is described. The technique utilizes an ac modulation at two distinct but synchronous frequencies to produce a derivative signal at a useful difference frequency which is unique to the order of the derivative being measured.

The mixed conformable partial derivatives

Periodica Mathematica Hungarica, 2020
The paper introduces a modification of the so-called ``conformable derivative'' and applies it to functions of two variables. Like the conformable derivative itself, it is just a classical first derivative multiplied by a very simple factor that is independent of the function (this is evident, e.g. from Theorem 2.4), so it is really nothing more than a

Mixed halogeno-derivatives of methylgermane

Journal of the Chemical Society A: Inorganic, Physical, Theoretical, 1971
A 1H n.m.r. spectroscopic study of the reactions of the halogeno(methyl)germanes MeGeHnX3 –n(n= 1 or 2; X = Cl, Br, or I) is described in which ‘mixed’ species MeGeHXY and MeGeX2Y are formed. Mass spectroscopy confirms the assignments.

Mixed aldimine derivatives of aluminium

Journal of Inorganic and Nuclear Chemistry, 1979
Abstract 1:1:1 Molar reactions of Al(OPr i ) 3 with monofunctional bidentate and bifunctional tridentate Schiff bases have yielded mixed Schiff base derivatives of the type (S′B′)Al(SB) (where S′B′ 2− and SB − are the anions of bifunctional tridentate and monofunctional bidentate Schiff bases respectively).

Derivation of mixing parameters from the HDR-thermal mixing experiments

International Journal of Pressure Vessels and Piping, 1988
Abstract This paper presents the results of an analysis and interpretation of mixing phenomena in the cold leg near the injection nozzle during the high-pressure injection (HPI) of cold emergency core cooling water. The mixing efficiency in the injection region governs the temperature transient and the thermal stratification in the cold leg of a PWR.
