On the Solvability of a Mixed Problem for a High-Order Partial Differential Equation with Fractional Derivatives with Respect to Time, with Laplace Operators with Spatial Variables and Nonlocal Boundary Conditions in Sobolev Classes

open access: yesMathematics, 2019
In this paper, we study the solvability of a mixed problem for a high-order partial differential equation with fractional derivatives with respect to time, and with Laplace operators with spatial variables and nonlocal boundary conditions in Sobolev ...

Normal loads program for aerodynamic lifting surface theory [PDF]

open access: yes
A description of and users manual are presented for a U.S.A. FORTRAN 4 computer program which evaluates spanwise and chordwise loading distributions, lift coefficient, pitching moment coefficient, and other stability derivatives for thin wings in ...

Mixed‐Valence Single‐Atom Catalyst Derived from Functionalized Graphene

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, 2019
AbstractSingle‐atom catalysts (SACs) aim at bridging the gap between homogeneous and heterogeneous catalysis. The challenge is the development of materials with ligands enabling coordination of metal atoms in different valence states, and preventing leaching or nanoparticle formation.

Diversity and complexity in neural organoids

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Neural organoid research aims to expand genetic diversity on one side and increase tissue complexity on the other. Chimeroids integrate multiple donor genomes within single organoids. Self‐organising multi‐identity organoids, exogenous cell seeding, or enforced assembly of region‐specific organoids contribute to tissue complexity.

Corrosion Inhibition of Aluminum in Hydrochloric Acid Solution Using Some Pyrazolocarbothioamide Derivatives

open access: yesInternational Journal of Electrochemical Science, 2017
The corrosion performance of Al in 2M HCl in presence of pyrazolocarbothioamide derivatives have been investigated using electrochemical frequency modulation (EFM), Tafel polarization (PP), AC impedance (EIS) and mass reduction (MR) techniques.

Hyperosmotic stress induces PARP1‐mediated HPF1‐dependent mono(ADP‐ribosyl)ation

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Sorbitol‐induced hyperosmotic stress rapidly induces reversible mono(ADP‐ribosyl)ation (MARylation) on PARP1 without the signs of genotoxic signaling. We show that PARP1 autoMARylation is HPF1 dependent and forms hydroxylamine‐resistant O‐glycosidic linkages.

An isoform of 14‐3‐3 protein regulates transbilayer lipid movement at the plasma membrane

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Loss of 14‐3‐3ζ in CHO cells confers resistance to exogenous phosphatidylserine (PS) and impairs endocytosis‐independent inward flip‐flop of fluorescent PS at the plasma membrane. RNAi‐mediated knockdown reproduces this defect, while no additive effect is seen in ATP11C‐deficient cells.

Organizing the interface—Plasma membrane architecture and receptor dynamics in virus‐cell interactions

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Plasma membranes contain dynamic nanoscale domains that organize lipids and receptors. Because viruses operate at similar scales, this architecture shapes early infection steps, including attachment, receptor engagement, and entry. Using influenza A virus and HIV‐1 as examples, we highlight how receptor nanoclusters, multivalent glycan interactions ...

Decay estimates and extinction properties of parabolic equations with classical and fractional time derivatives

open access: yesElectronic Journal of Differential Equations
In this article, we study the decay estimates and extinction properties of weak solutions to some parabolic equations with classical and fractional time derivatives.

pH‐mediated activation of the lysosomal arginine sensor SLC38A9

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Cells monitor nutrient levels via the lysosomal transporter SLC38A9 to activate the mechanistic target of rapamycin complex 1 (mTORC1). This study reveals that SLC38A9 function is regulated by pH. We identified histidine 544 as a critical pH sensor that undergoes conformational changes to control amino acid efflux from lysosomes; therefore, it ...
