Effect of heat treatment on cracks and properties of self-piercing riveted joint in aluminum alloy
By considering the influence of cracks in self-piercing riveted joints of aluminum alloys on the static mechanical properties, an annealing process was applied to heat-treat 2024 aluminum alloy base plates before riveting.

We introduce a new fabrication method that overcomes the current limitation of tubular gap electrospinning. We successfully fabricated a seamless hollow tube with fibers aligned along the longitudinal axis in diameters as small as 300 µm, and then reinforced it using 4‐axis 3D printing.

Bioprinting High‐Cell‐Density Cardiac Tissue Constructs With Sustained Contractile Function
Contractile cardiomyocytes in 3D culture provide insights into the behavior of the heart. Combining a 3D bioprinting approach with a multi‐electrode array allows the development of the 3D culture to be monitored over time, and matured cultures allow the effect of drugs on cardiac function to be modelled, replicating effects seen in clinical application.
