Building capacity in vector‐borne plant virus research: The CONNECTED Network
Plant viruses spread by insects decimate crop yields globally, causing food security challenges in vulnerable areas, including regions of Africa. Interdisciplinary research is needed to protect future crop supplies. CONNECTED, the Community Network for African Vector‐Borne Plant Viruses, increased research capacity in Central, East, West and Southern ...

Adaptive CUSUM Chart for Simultaneous Monitoring of Mean and Variance
ABSTRACT Simultaneously monitoring changes in both the mean and variance is a fundamental problem in statistical process control, and numerous methods have been developed to address it. However, many existing approaches face notable limitations: Some rely on tuning parameters that can significantly affect performance; others are biased toward detecting

Phase I Multivariate Coefficient of Variation Control Charts for High‐Dimensional Processes
ABSTRACT Multivariate control charts have traditionally focused on monitoring the process mean vector and/or covariance matrix. Recent studies have extended this framework to Phase II monitoring of the multivariate coefficient of variation (MCV); yet very limited work has examined MCV‐based monitoring in Phase I.

Modelling forest dynamics using integral projection models and repeat lidar
Forests are facing increasing pressure from climate change and disturbance, yet linking individual tree trajectories to whole‐forest outcomes remains a major challenge. Our study integrates repeat airborne lidar with an Integral Projection Model to analyse demographic processes at the landscape scale.

Does Carbon Intensity Affect the Cost of Equity? An Empirical Study From Mexico
ABSTRACT Climate change poses significant risks for companies, particularly in emerging countries like Mexico, where sustainability perceptions are evolving. This study analyzes how carbon emissions affect the cost of equity capital (CoE) for Mexican firms.

Abstract Objective During the surgical procedure of deep brain stimulation (DBS), insertion of an electrode in the subthalamic nucleus (STN) frequently causes a temporary improvement of motor symptoms, known as the microlesion effect (MLE). The objective of this study was to determine the correlation between the intraoperative MLE and the clinical ...
