QM/MM Modelling of Drug-Metabolizing Enzymes
Current Topics in Medicinal Chemistry, 2014Making reliable predictions of drug metabolites requires detailed knowledge of the chemical reactivity of drug metabolizing enzymes. Cytochrome P450 enzymes (P450s) play an important role in drug metabolism. Numerous adverse drug reactions have been identified that occur as a result of interactions with P450s.

Circuit designers are mostly used to assume device models as given, instantiate their desired devices in their schematic windows, set up the simulation and run! They might perform their simulations in a number of different process corners and this is as much as they should worry about the whole notion of device modeling.

Diagnosability of Component-Composition Graphs in the MM* Model
ACM Transactions on Design Automation of Electronic Systems, 2014Diagnosability is an important metric for measuring the reliability of multiprocessor systems. This article adopts the MM* model and outlines the common properties of a wide class of interconnection networks, called component-composition graphs (CCGs), to determine their diagnosability by using their obtained properties.

A statistical model for the MM-wave indoor radio channel
[1992 Proceedings] The Third IEEE International Symposium on Personal, Indoor and Mobile Radio Communications, 2003A statistical multipath model is presented to characterize the multipath propagation properties of indoor radio channels which operate in the mm-wave frequency band. The model is derived from measurement data obtained in various typical indoor environments.

Distributed Multimedia Modeling in an MMS Context
IFAC Proceedings Volumes, 1995Abstract Distributed multimedia applications would be a useful tool in the manufacturing industry. They are typically time-based applications which impose several time related constraints on communication systems. Quality of Service (QoS) parameters are necessary to describe the requirements to transfer multimedia information in communication systems.

A model of immunomodulatory for dengue infection mm
AIP Conference Proceedings, 2018An immunomodulatory model for dengue infection is constructed in this paper. This study focuses on T-cell compartments and B cells that are immune cells involved in the dengue infection process. Dengue virus-infected monocyte cells release interferons to signal T-cells to activate B-cells and produce antibodies.

The Non-inclusive Diagnosability of Hypercubes under the MM* Model
International Journal of Foundations of Computer Science, 2020Diagnosability is an important factor in multiple-processor systems defined as the maximum number of faulty nodes that a system can recognize. In this paper, we propose a new form of diagnosability called non-inclusive diagnosability that requires all faulty sets to be non-inclusive.

An Explicit Ground Reflection Model for mm-Wave Channels
2017 IEEE Wireless Communications and Networking Conference Workshops (WCNCW), 20175G mobile communication systems are likely to use the enormous bandwidths available at mm-wave frequencies. However, there is an important propagation effect that can have a major impact on the performance - the ground reflection (GR). This effect is currently not sufficiently covered by existing 3GPP propagation models.

Quantum Chemical and QM/MM Models in Biochemistry
2019Quantum chemical (QC) calculations provide a basis for deriving a microscopic understanding of enzymes and photobiological systems. Here we describe how QC models can be used to explore the electronic structure, dynamics, and energetics of biomolecules.
