Externally validated risk prediction models for gestational diabetes mellitus: A systematic review and meta‐analysis

A systematic review of 33 gestational diabetes risk prediction models found fair discrimination but significant methodological weaknesses. With 69% of studies at high risk of bias, future research must adopt rigorous, scalable validation strategies to enhance clinical utility.
