Cell‐cycle‐specific lesion evolution rather than inhibition of double‐strand‐break repair underpins cisplatin radiosensitization

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
We analyze cisplatin–DNA adducts (CDAs) and double‐strand breaks (DSBs) in a cell‐cycle‐dependent manner. We find that CDAs form similarly across all cell cycle phases. DSBs arise only in S‐phase. CDAs might not directly impair DSB repair, but S‐phase DSB lesions evolve in the presence of CDAs and disrupt repair in G2, also causing radiosensitization ...

Development of an MMS environment on ISODE

open access: yes, 1995
Plant floor interoperability is one of the most important requirements for computer integrated manufacturing (CIM) implementation. While proprietary and customized solutions are being widely used in shopfloor integration, ISO/IEC 9506: Manufacturing ...

Adaptor protein CIN85 potentiates the motility of osteosarcoma cells via the Akt/mTOR and MMP2‐COL3A1 axis

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
CIN85 is highly expressed in osteosarcoma, particularly in metastatic lesions. Its overexpression increases cell migration and Matrigel invasion, while silencing CIN85 suppresses these behaviors. Transcriptome analysis shows that CIN85 regulates MMP2, COL3A1, and Akt/mTOR signaling. Targeting these pathways reverses CIN85‐induced motility, highlighting

Longitudinal circulating tumor DNA profiling in patients with advanced endometrial cancer using an off‐the‐shelf targeted NGS panel

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Intratumour heterogeneity complicates precision management of advanced endometrial cancer. Circulating tumor DNA (ctDNA) offers a minimally invasive strategy to capture tumor evolution and therapeutic resistance. Here, we compare tumor‐agnostic NGS with tumor‐informed ddPCR, outlining their relative sensitivity, concordance, and clinical implications ...

Multimedia Messaging System (MMS)

open access: yes, 2005
Due to the enormous success of GSM- SMS, new messaging types have been defined in order to enrich the exchanged contents. This chapter focuses on the evolution from SMS to Enhanced Messaging Service (EMS) to Multimedia Messaging Service (MMS).

High Repetition Rate in Ultra-Wideband Radar Systems

open access: yesИзвестия высших учебных заведений России: Радиоэлектроника, 2016
Low and high repetition rate work modes for ultra-wideband radar are considered. The ultra-short pulse packs usage for ultra-wideband radar systems is proposed. The advantages, disadvantages and probable fields of usage of such method are shown.

Interaction of HS1BP3 with cortactin modulates TKS5 localisation, cell secretion and cancer malignancy

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Here, we demonstrate that HS1BP3 interacts with Cortactin through a proline‐rich region (PRR3.1) and show that this interaction, and HS1BP3 itself, promote cancer cell proliferation and invasion. Inhibition of this interaction leads to build‐up of TKS5 in multivesicular endosomes and altered secretion of CD63 and CD9, providing an explanation for the ...

CCMC Modeling of MMS reconnection events

open access: yes, 2022
Global MHD modeling often provides a context for understanding MMS observations. Connections of field lines near MMS can be traced to various locations in the solar wind and ionosphere, leading to different particle populations virtually adjacent to each

Interpreting the effects of DNA polymerase variants at the structural level

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Using MAVISp and molecular dynamics simulations, we analyzed over 60 000 missense variants in POLE and POLD1 from ClinVar, COSMIC, cBioPortal, and saturation mutagenesis. Identified mechanistic indicators, including stability, binding, and long‐range, enable structural interpretation, providing ACMG‐like evidence for possible reclassification of VUS ...
