Ryugu reference project: Recommendations from the measurement definition team

open access: yesMeteoritics &Planetary Science, Volume 61, Issue 5, Page 819-848, May 2026.
Abstract Sample return missions play a significant role in planetary science by providing pristine extraterrestrial materials. JAXA's Hayabusa2 and NASA's OSIRIS‐REx missions have returned samples from the C‐type asteroids Ryugu and Bennu, respectively. The chemical and mineralogical compositions of these samples closely resemble those of CI chondrites,

Selective Drug‐Free Active Surveillance in Ulcerative Colitis: Biomarker‐Guided, Patient‐Centered Approach

open access: yesJGH Open, Volume 10, Issue 4, April 2026.
ABSTRACT Ulcerative colitis (UC) is traditionally managed with long‐term 5‐aminosalicylic acid (5‐ASA) administration. However, in real‐world practice, carefully selected low‐risk patients in sustained deep remission may remain stable without continuous therapy.

MMX samples curation in Europe [PDF]

open access: yes, 2022
In 2024 the Martian Moons eXploration (MMX) mission from JAXA will be launched to the Martian Moons Phobos and Deimos to investigate their nature and improve our understanding of their formation. In 2029 samples from Phobos will be returned back to Earth as MMX is the latest JAXA’s sample return mission.

Efficacy and Safety of Switching From Intravenous to Subcutaneous Vedolizumab in Japanese Patients With Ulcerative Colitis: A Study Focusing on Injection‐Site Reactions

open access: yesJGH Open, Volume 10, Issue 4, April 2026.
ABSTRACT Background/Aims The subcutaneous (SC) formulation of vedolizumab is available as an alternative to the intravenous (IV) formulation in patients with ulcerative colitis (UC). However, data from Asian patients are limited, and the clinical course of injection‐site reactions (ISRs) remains unclear.

Magnetic Reconnection as a Potential Trigger for Magnetotail Flapping at Mars: Insights From MAVEN and Tianwen‐1 Observations

open access: yesAGU Advances, Volume 7, Issue 2, April 2026.
Abstract Magnetotail current sheet (CS) flapping is a universal plasma phenomenon observed at multiple planets, yet its triggering mechanisms remain poorly understood outside of Earth. At Mars, single‐spacecraft observations have also reported tail flapping, but the processes responsible for its onset have never been identified.

From Pharmaceutical to Biophysical Therapies: New Horizons in Inflammatory Bowel Disease Management

open access: yesJCC Plus, Volume 1, Issue 2, March 2026.
Important limitations exist in the current pharmacological landscape of Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD), such as variable response rates and treatment‐limiting adverse effects. In this review, we perform a critical assessment of the current literature on novel multimodal biophysical approaches showing alternative mechanisms of action to, and potential
