In this article we display the panels of the Bilderatals exibited for the first time by Warburg at the Hertziana Library in Rome in the 19th January 1929. There are several differences between this version and the Hamburg version exibited in October 1929, concerning the "Astrology" theme and the "Orientation" theme.

We present hitherto unpublished handwritten notes made by Gertrud Bing after the Kulturwissenschaftliche Bibliothek Warburg relocated to London, possibly in the mid-1930s.
