Mobile agent‐based service migration in mobile edge computing
International Journal of Communication Systems, 2020SummaryIn order to improve the efficiency of service migration in mobile edge computing (MEC), and obtain higher quality of service and better user experience, we take mobile agent technology, instead of container, as the application component hosting technology.

Research on mobile agent computing theory
Proceedings of the 2003 International Conference on Machine Learning and Cybernetics (IEEE Cat. No.03EX693), 2004A new system structure of agent is given. It gives out every semantic definition in the new agent system structure, and analyzes the agent computing based on the system structure. Finally we discuss and verify the vivid and secure properties. The paper gives a good foundation to research the theory of agent computing.

Message Transferring Model between Mobile Agents in Multi-region Mobile Agent Computing Environment
International Conference on Human System Interaction, 2003In this paper, we will propose a message transferring model between mobile agents using broadcasting the receiving notification of message by home site creating the corresponding mobile agent or Mobile Agent Name Server (MANS) in the current region of the corresponding mobile agent.

Itinerant Agents for Mobile Computing
IEEE Communications Surveys & Tutorials, 1995Describes a framework for itinerant agents that can be used to implement secure, remote applications in large, public networks such as the Internet or the IBM Global Network. Itinerant agents are programs, dispatched from a source computer, that roam among a set of networked servers until they accomplish their task.
