Mobile devices and localization
AbstractIt is obvious, that the use of mobile technology in general represents a great asset for the company’s competitive ability. The greatest barriers for installation of mobile technology might be financial difficulties, negative approach of managers and employees, and also the fact, that the character of the company allows no or minimal use of ...

Control Mechanisms for Mobile Devices
In this paper we consider control mechanisms for mobile devices in a stochastic environment. In particular, we consider a device in n-dimensional space subject to Brownian perturbations where a control mechanism moves the device towards its target location at a speed which is a function of its displacement.

Modulation of Homer1 EVH1 domain internal dynamics by putative autism‐associated mutations
The putative autism‐associated M65I and S97L variants of the EVH1 domain of the postsynaptic scaffold protein Homer1 do not exhibit substantial changes in their overall structure or partner binding. Both of them, but especially the M65I variant, show altered internal dynamics relative to the wild‐type domain on the μs‐ms timescale, indicated by the ...

The novel styrylquinazolinone‐based molecule W1B effectively suppresses glioblastoma by inhibiting IGF1R and EGFR. In high‐glucose microenvironments driving tumor resistance, W1B acts synergistically with the EGFR inhibitor dacomitinib. This combination safely blocks compensatory survival signaling in zebrafish xenograft models. Showcasing promising in

Surveillance video for mobile devices [PDF]
In this paper, we present a video encoding scheme that uses object-based adaptation to deliver surveillance video to mobile devices. The method relies on a set of complementary video adaptation strategies and generates content that matches various appliance and network resources. Prior to encoding, some of the adaptation strategies exploit video object
