Tailoring Electrochemical Properties of PEDOT‐Based Platinum Electrode via Controlled Polymerization in Simulated Physiological Conditions

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Interfaces, EarlyView.
This study systematically optimizes the polymerization parameters of poly(3,4‐ethylenedioxythiophene) (PEDOT) coatings for neural electrodes. By evaluating electrochemical performance, morphology, and stability, we identify optimal conditions to achieve low impedance, high charge storage capacity, and superior current‐injection limits, providing a ...

Modelling Mobile IP with Mobile Petri Nets [PDF]

open access: yes, 2009
Mobile systems explore the interplay between locality and connectivity. A subsystem may have a connection to a remote subsystem and use this for communication. It may be necessary or desirable to move the subsystem close to the other in order to communicate. Alternatively, the method of communication may vary depending on proximity.

Tailoring the Electrochemical Performance of SnO2‐Based Anodes for Li‐Ion Batteries: Effect of Morphology and Composite Matrix

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Technologies, EarlyView.
Three different composite anodes, based on SnO2, are investigated as potential anode materials for lithium‐ion batteries. Three different strategies are employed to stabilize SnO2 upon cycling i.e., i) use of an inorganic matrix (TiO2), ii) use of an amorphous carbon matrix, and iii) use of SnO2 with a tailored morphology (nanorod) and a carbon coating.

Extreme Terahertz Nonlinearity of AlGaN/GaN‐Based Grating‐Gate Plasmonic Crystals

open access: yesAdvanced Optical Materials, EarlyView.
Plasmonic crystals based on grating‐gated 2D electron gas in AlGaN/GaN heterostructures provide a platform for strong light‐matter interaction. Pump‐probe experiments revealed strong terahertz nonlinearity leading to 45% increase in transmission at a fluence below 350 nJ cm−2.
