IP micro-mobility protocols [PDF]

open access: yesACM SIGMOBILE Mobile Computing and Communications Review, 2000
The IETF Mobile IP Working Group is discussing a number of enhancements to the base protocol to reduce the latency, packet loss and signaling overhead experienced during handoff. In this article, we discuss a number of "micro-mobility protocols" that extend Mobile IP with fast handoff and paging capabilities.

Analyzing Electronic Excitations and Exciton Binding Energies in Y6 Films

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
The Y6 molecule is used for increasing the efficiency of organic solar cells. The exciton binding energy is calculated for ensembles of Y6 molecules that are representative of the typically used films. The calculations show that the excitons typically spread out over many molecules.
