Capacity of cellular mobile radio systems
A lower bound to the Shannon capacity of the uplink channel of a cellular system, with perfect channel state information (CSI) at the receiver, is evaluated against the reuse distance and the level of shadowing affecting the interfering signals. Capacity is normalised to the covered area and expressed in bit/s/Hz/unit area.
