Mobile Transaction System for Supporting Mobile Work

16th International Workshop on Database and Expert Systems Applications (DEXA'05), 2006
This paper presents a mobile affiliation model that supports sharing information among mobile transactions. The model allows mobile hosts to form a dynamic workgroup, called mobile affiliation, by taking advantages of wireless communication technologies.

A Calculus for Mobile Network Systems

2002
The rapidly increasing demand for ubiquitous communication has led to the widespread use of wireless networks. These systems consist of a group of independently executing components which may migrate through some space during the course of the computation, and the connectivity between the components changes with their migration [5, 6].

The mobile programming system

Communications of the ACM, 1970
STAGE2 is the second level of a bootstrap sequence which is easily implemented on any computer. It is a flexible, powerful macro processor designed specifically as a tool for constructing machine-independent software. In this paper the features provided by STAGE2 are summarized, and the implementation techniques which have made it possible to have ...

Architecture of Mobile Crowdsourcing Systems

2014
This paper proposes a general architecture and a classification scheme for mobile crowdsourcing systems, which are illustrated by two example applications. The aim is to gain a better understanding of typical functionalities and design aspects to be considered during development and evaluation of such collaborative systems.

Mobile Agents in Mobile Data Access Systems

2002
The heterogeneity and geographical distribution of data sources in the presence of autonomy make it a very difficult task to provide global information sharing. When adding mobility and wireless medium to this mix (Mobile Data Access System), the constraints on bandwidth, connectivity, and resources worsen the problem.

Mobile Manipulator Systems

1997
Mobile manipulation capabilities are key to many new applications of robotics in space, underwater, construction, and service environments. In these applications, consideration of vehicle/arm dynamics is essential for robot coordination and control. This article discusses the inertial properties of holonomic mobile manipulation systems and presents the

Mobile Grid System Based on Mobile Agent

2010
Mobile Grid is a branch of Grid where the infrastructure includes mobile devices. The mobile Grid exhibits different challenges such as resource-constraints and users’ movements, compared to the traditional Grid. Mobile agent is an attractive technology to overcome these challenges. In this paper, we present a new mobile Grid system based on the mobile

MAMI: mobile agent based system for mobile internet

The 6th International Conference on Advanced Communication Technology, 2004., 2004
In this paper we propose a mobile agent based system for wireless mobile internet. We show that our agent based system has some desirable properties which are effective in compensating the drawbacks of wireless environment, mobile device limitations and TCP, HTTP protocol limitations in wireless environment.

Mobile Systems

Industrial Robot: An International Journal, 1993
The Opera House building is synonymous worldwide with Sydney, Australia. The unique shape (see photo) is actually due to the architect wanting to recreate the geometry of orange segments, not to project the image of sails on the harbour as is generally believed.
