Real‐Time Vision System for Estimating Magnetic Compass Needle Oscillation Using Deep Learning
Engineering Reports, Volume 8, Issue 3, March 2026.This study presents a low‐cost, vision‐based system for measuring compass needle oscillation. The system uses YOLO11s to detect the needle's pivot and tip in real time. Angle‐time data is tracked and fitted to extract oscillation parameters.
