Clean‐Limit 2D Superconductivity in a Thick Exfoliated Kagome Film
This study reports clean‐limit 2D superconductivity in a thick kagome system, analogous to the 3D case. It observes a drop in superfluid stiffness near the superconducting transition and a cusp‐like feature in the angular dependence of the upper critical field.

Mode-locked silicon evanescent lasers
We demonstrate electrically pumped lasers on silicon that produce pulses at repetition rates up to 40 GHz. The mode locked lasers generate 4 ps pulses with low jitter and extinction ratios above 18 dB, making them suitable for data and telecommunication transmitters and for clock generation and distribution.

MOFs and COFs in Electronics: Bridging the Gap between Intrinsic Properties and Measured Performance
Metal‐organic frameworks (MOFs) and covalent organic frameworks (COFs) hold promise for advanced electronics. However, discrepancies in reported electrical conductivities highlight the importance of measurement methodologies. This review explores intrinsic charge transport mechanisms and extrinsic factors influencing performance, and critically ...

Sub-100 fs pulse generation from dispersion-managed mode-locked Er:ZBLAN fiber laser at 2.8 μm
We demonstrate the sub-100 fs pulse generation from a dispersion-managed mode-locked Er:ZBLAN fiber laser at 2.8 μm. Both numerical simulation and experiment demonstrate that stretched-pulse and dissipative soliton mode lockings coexist in the near-zero ...

Unleashing the Power of Machine Learning in Nanomedicine Formulation Development
A random forest machine learning model is able to make predictions on nanoparticle attributes of different nanomedicines (i.e. lipid nanoparticles, liposomes, or PLGA nanoparticles) based on microfluidic formulation parameters. Machine learning models are based on a database of nanoparticle formulations, and models are able to generate unique solutions

Multiband Switchable Microwave Absorbing Metamaterials Based on Reconfigurable Kirigami–Origami
A reconfigurable metamaterial featuring tunable microwave‐absorbing and load‐bearing performance is proposed. Stretchable kirigami and bistable origami configurations are integrated as actuating components, and the synergistic deformation mechanisms are systematically analyzed.

Graphene mode locked, wavelength-tunable, dissipative soliton fiber laser
Atomic layer graphene possesses wavelength-insensitive ultrafast saturable absorption, which can be exploited as a full-band mode locker. Taking advantage of the wide band saturable absorption of the graphene, we demonstrate experimentally that wide ...
