Synthesis and mode transformation analysis of double loop 7R mechanism with motion and locking modes

open access: yesAdvances in Mechanical Engineering
Analyzing the different characteristics of tangent lines of the coupler point curve of 4R mechanism, a 3R kinematic chain in a singular configuration is set up, planar and spherical 7R mechanisms with motion and locking modes are synthesized.

Mode locking mechanism in Fourier-domain mode-locked optoelectronic oscillators

open access: yesOptics Express
Fourier-domain mode-locked (FDML) optoelectronic oscillators (OEOs) are regarded as a promising candidate to generate linearly chirped microwave waveforms (LCMWs) with large time-bandwidth products. Nevertheless, up to date, the mode locking mechanism in FDML-OEOs is still not clear enough.

Reconfigurable Three‐Dimensional Superconducting Nanoarchitectures

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
3D superconducting nanostructures offer new possibilities for emergent physical phenomena. However, fabricating complex geometries remains challenging. Here 3D nanoprinting of complex 3D superconducting nanoarchitectures is established. As well as propagating superconducting vortices in 3D, anisotropic superconducting properties with geometric ...

Low‐Symmetry Weyl Semimetals: A Path to Ideal Topological States

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
This study presents a theoretical framework for realizing ideal Weyl semimetals, where Weyl nodes are well‐isolated at the Fermi level. The approach is exemplified in the low‐symmetry material Cu2SnSe3, which exhibits tunable topological phases, current‐induced orbital magnetization, and a strong circular photogalvanic effect, making it a promising ...

Analysis on Reducing the Bandwidth of Kelly Sidebands in Mode-Locking Fiber Laser for Narrow Terahertz Signal Generation

open access: yesPhotonics
The bandwidth of the ±1-order Kelly sidebands of mode-locking fiber lasers is investigated for narrow terahertz (THz) signal generation. Four key factors influencing the bandwidth of Kelly sidebands are found and analyzed in detail.
