How are nature exposures and nature connectedness related to well‐being and environmentalism in the population of England?

open access: yesPeople and Nature, Volume 7, Issue 6, Page 1351-1365, June 2025.
Abstract The twin crises of mental and planetary health can benefit from understanding how visiting nature and nature connectedness are related to well‐being and environmentalism. These relationships are complicated by (1) the quality of neighbourhood nature, which can influence both nature visit behaviour and nature connectedness, as well as well ...

Sustainable Solar Module Through the Substitution of Materials by Renewable Encapsulation, Recycled Backsheet, and Lead‐Free Interconnection

open access: yesProgress in Photovoltaics: Research and Applications, EarlyView.
This study shows a path to greater sustainability in PV module materials that have passed the IEC 61730 and IEC 61215 test procedures. A lead‐free ECA solar cell connection, EVA based on 60% renewable raw materials, and a backsheet made from 30% recycled PET show no weaknesses compared with lead solder and petroleum‐based polymers.

Copolymer Synthesis of N‐Vinylacetamide and 2‐Methylene‐1,3‐Dioxepane Provides a New Degradable Polymer

open access: yesJournal of Polymer Science, Volume 63, Issue 6, Page 1306-1318, 15 March 2025.
ABSTRACT N‐vinylamides, especially noncyclic N‐vinylacetamide (NVA), have been used in various applications such as biomaterials, surfactants, and hydrogels. However, their potential to copolymerize with cyclic ketene acetal (CKA) to create degradable polymers is underexplored.
