3D Analyses of crack propagation in torsion [PDF]
The initiation and propagation of fatigue cracks during cyclic torsion loading was studied in a cast Al alloy (A357) with a relatively large (~500 μm) grain size. 2D observations, revealed that multi site crack initiation occur on the {111} slip planes

Comprehensive Predictive Control Model for a Three-Phase Four-Legged Inverter
This paper presents a comprehensive model predictive control (CMPC) method to control a three-phase four-legged inverter (TP4LI) for PV systems. The proposed TP4LI model aims to predictively model and control switching frequency and higher voltage ...

A mode-III crack with variable surface effects
We study the contribution of variable surface effects to the antiplane deformation of a linearly elastic material with a mode-III crack. The surface elasticity is incorporated using a modified version of the continuum based surface/interface model of Gurtin and Murdoch.

ASSIST: Refinement of a Benefits Navigator Intervention Among Low‐Income Pediatric Oncology Families
ABSTRACT Background/Objectives Children with cancer living in poverty experience worse survival and quality of life. Interventions connecting low‐income families to benefits (e.g., Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program [SNAP] improve health outcomes; yet nearly 50% of SNAP‐eligible pediatric oncology families are unenrolled.
