Evaluating the effect of γ‐oryzanol on MASLD pathology using a medaka fish model

This study explores a liver disease called MASLD, which is increasing worldwide and can lead to serious damage. Researchers used medaka fish instead of rodents to test a food compound, γ‐oryzanol. Fish fed this compound had less liver fat and healthier gut bacteria.

Flexible mixed-mode and mixed-level simulation

A new mixed-level and mixed-mode simulator is presented. It is developed by coupling a piecewise linear simulator with an existing discrete event simulator through a very flexible interface. This interface can be used to integrate other types of simulators with the discrete event simulator as well.
