Model Data Fit Comparison between DINA and G-DINA in Cognitive Diagnostic Models [PDF]
In this study, item and model data fit indices, calculated by DINA and G-DINA Models using the same sample and Q matrix, are analyzed. Fit indices for these two models from Cognitive Diagnostic Models are analyzed using 2LL, AIC and BIC statistics. Item fit indices are analyzed using residual correlations and probabilities.

Sickle Cell Disease Is an Inherent Risk for Asthma in a Sibling Comparison Study
ABSTRACT Introduction Sickle cell disease (SCD) and asthma share a complex relationship. Although estimates vary, asthma prevalence in children with SCD is believed to be comparable to or higher than the general population. Determining whether SCD confers an increased risk for asthma remains challenging due to overlapping symptoms and the ...

One of the issues that researchers may encounter in count data is having many zeros. One of the solutions to model these data is using zero-inflated Poisson (ZIP) regression models. Recently, researchers have started to model longitudinal count data with

ABSTRACT The pediatric hematology‐oncology fellowship training curriculum has not substantially changed since its inception. The first year of training is clinically focused, and the second and third years are devoted to scholarship. However, this current structure leaves many fellows less competitive in the current job market, resulting in ...

A Realistic Particle Physics Dark Energy Model
We present a realistic dark energy model derived from particle physics. Our model has essentially no free parameters and has an equivalent fit to the observational data (CMB, SN1a and LSS) as LCDM and a better fit than the best effective $w(z)$ model ...

The leaf area index (LAI) is critical for the respiration, transpiration, and photosynthesis of crops. Color indices (CIs) and vegetation indices (VIs) extracted from unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) imagery have been widely applied to the monitoring of the crop LAI. However, when the coverage of the crop canopy is large and only spectral data are used to

Are four neutrino models ruled out? [PDF]
We show explicitly that four neutrino models of the 2+2 variety still provide an acceptable global fit to the solar, atmospheric and LSND neutrino data. The goodness of fit, defined in the usual way, is found to be 0.26 for the simplest such model.
