Are four neutrino models ruled out? [PDF]
We show explicitly that four neutrino models of the 2+2 variety still provide an acceptable global fit to the solar, atmospheric and LSND neutrino data. The goodness of fit, defined in the usual way, is found to be 0.26 for the simplest such model.

Clinical Insights Into Hypercalcemia of Malignancy in Childhood
ABSTRACT Hypercalcemia of malignancy (HCM) is a rare but life‐threatening metabolic emergency in children that occurs in less than 1% of pediatric cancer cases, with a reported incidence ranging from 0.4% to 1.0% across different studies. While it is observed in 10%–20% of adult malignancies, pediatric HCM remains relatively uncommon.

The leaf area index (LAI) is critical for the respiration, transpiration, and photosynthesis of crops. Color indices (CIs) and vegetation indices (VIs) extracted from unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) imagery have been widely applied to the monitoring of the crop LAI. However, when the coverage of the crop canopy is large and only spectral data are used to

Remarks on drift estimation for diffusion processes [PDF]
In applications such as molecular dynamics it is of interest to fit Smoluchowski and Langevin equations to data. Practitioners often achieve this by a variety of seemingly ad hoc procedures such as fitting to the empirical measure generated by the data,

ABSTRACT Purpose Retinoblastoma (RB) is the most common pediatric ocular cancer, yet population‐based data on survival and risk factors remain limited. This study aimed to describe survival in a large national RB cohort and identify predictors of death and complications.

X-ray and Sunyaev-Zel'dovich Effect Measurements of the Gas Mass Fraction in Galaxy Clusters [PDF]
We present gas mass fractions of 38 massive galaxy clusters spanning redshifts from 0.14 to 0.89, derived from Chandra X-ray data and OVRO/BIMA interferometric Sunyaev-Zel'dovich Effect measurements.

ABSTRACT Objective To evaluate selumetinib exposure using therapeutic drug monitoring (TDM) in pediatric patients with neurofibromatosis type 1 (NF1) and plexiform neurofibromas (PN), assess interpatient pharmacokinetic variability, and explore the relationship between drug exposure, clinical response, and adverse effects.

The Lazy Bootstrap. A Fast Resampling Method for Evaluating Latent Class Model Fit [PDF]
The latent class model is a powerful unsupervised clustering algorithm for categorical data. Many statistics exist to test the fit of the latent class model. However, traditional methods to evaluate those fit statistics are not always useful.

Strangeness production in heavy ion collisions at SPS and RHIC within two-source statistical model
The experimental data on hadron yields and ratios in central Pb+Pb and Au+Au collisions at SPS and RHIC energies, respectively, are analysed within a two-source statistical model of an ideal hadron gas. These two sources represent the expanding system of

Observational constraint on generalized Chaplygin gas model [PDF]
We investigate observational constraints on the generalized Chaplygin gas (GCG) model as the unification of dark matter and dark energy from the latest observational data: the Union SNe Ia data, the observational Hubble data, the SDSS baryon acoustic ...
